New York, NY June 19, 2002 - dotsperinch is proud to announce that the International Academy of the Digital Arts and Sciences has bestowed 360degrees.org with this year's Webby Award for NetArt. Produced in collaboration with Picture Projects, 360degrees.org - Perspectives on the U.S. Criminal Justice System, investigates the prison experience via the first-person stories of inmates, corrections officers, victims of crime, judges, and others. "What makes 360degree.org so effective is that it not only allows visitors to peer into the prison system from a variety of viewpoints, it also gives them a chance to engage in the dialogue. 360degrees.org takes visitors beyond those mind-numbing statistics we read in the news everyday," said dotsperinch co-founder Mark Shepard. Lead by Mr. Shepard and Carlos Tejada, dotsperinch was responsible for the design and development 360degrees.org's flash interface, animation, and backend programming.
